At the end of each episode, the ladies will point you to faith in Jesus Christ as the ultimate answer regardless of how weird life gets.

Hey Humor Consumers!
Birthdays are a thing and the older we get, the more of a thing they become. So why not celebrate them in style?
Cathrine and I have been besties for a couple of decades and over those many years we've celebrated our birthdays together. Yes, gifts are usually a part of the celebration, but experiences are a MUST. We typically spend the whole day together and sometimes two! Food is another MUST. Who doesn't love delicious food on their birthday? As I type this, we just celebrated Cathrine's last week and we found this adorable little place in Dyer, IN called The Scrambled Diner.
We split "The Bayou," andouille sausage, blackened shrimp, onion, peppers and goat cheese.....wowza. It was a party right there. On top of that, we ordered a half order of "Bananas Foster Pancakes." Heavenly would be one way to describe our experience at The Scrambled Diner. We will be back.
After that, we headed over to Goodwill....LOVE IT. So fun just to see what we can see and find what we can find. We also went to At Home.....a giant home store with literally every single thing you can imagine needing and several thousand things you don't all under one roof. We both found some fun items there. A few more stops at some additional thrift stores on the route home rounded out our day.
People are meant to be celebrated. Birthdays give us a great reason to do exactly that. Be sure to celebrate those you love. ;0)

Is it time to downsize? How do you know when the time is right?
Downsizing can be a major pain in the tushy. But, it can also lighten your load in ways you haven't even imagined. Yes, it's definitely a boost to your finances to not pay higher mortgage payments, tax payments, insurance payments, maintenance costs etc.
But, have you considered the mental game of having less to think about?
We (Tracy and bff Cathrine) both downsized a few years ago from our 2.5 acre sized yards with 5 bedrooms, attics, full basements and 2.5 car garages. We moved into much much much smaller houses, yards and space. We share those experiences here.
Our spiritual encouragement today comes from Proverbs 24:3-4

Do you HATE the sound of chewing? Lip Smacking? Breathing? Does the methodic tapping of a pen or fingernails make your skin crawl?
You might have a condition called Misophonia. It's a THING. If you have it, you're going to want to tune into today's podcast where we talk all things misophonia (we think it's pronounced miz-o-phone-ia). It's an actual condition where the above mentioned sounds make ya kinda crazy!
We (Tracy and bff Cathrine) both struggle with it and as much as we LOVE and ADORE our hubbies (Muffin and Pooh....Puffin for short. aka Ron and Kenny aka sponsors), we just about go ape when they make these very common and very human noises.
